Puranjoy started his career by capturing the streets of Mumbai. His early images were characterized by a preference for black and white film. Over the years his work has evolved to portraiture, beauty, advertising and ultimately fashion.
He is based in Mumbai, India and has a strong background in advertising and fine arts ( his work was exhibited in ‘ Birla Century Art Gallery ’ ). In 2011, he won a ‘ Clio Bronze ’ and had two Clio Nominations.
He is known to be very diverse when it comes to his photography techniques. His work is distinctive in more ways than one, the rich colours, an immaculate attention to detail, combined with raw photography to create images void of un-necessary digital trickery. He now specialises in project based conceptualization from initial briefing from clients and advertising agencies.
Puranjoy was selected to shoot all the top Industrialists in India along with their families.
